Fathers are a special group – many times under appreciated and over looked in our lives. While we may not realize it, fathers teach daughters how a man should treat them and what to look for in a boyfriend and future husband. And for daughters, our father is the first man we interacted with growing up – teaching us the all important subtle ways of communicating with the opposite sex.
Fathers also teach boys how to be men and husbands and fathers of their own.
In other words, fathers are important contributors to children’s lives.
So, here are a couple of videos honoring fathers.
I remember my father being a huge jokester and never missed an opportunity to get a laugh. In fact, I remember he was borderline embarrassing when I was a teenager, which makes this first video all the more touching. It’s a parody about Dad Life.

Go hug a father and thank them for their contributions to the lives of children in your community.
I hope you were lucky enough to have a father in your life. Here’s a picture of mine (with my little sister!)
